Gisela, Norbert, Willy and their motivated team have held the management of the winery firmly in their hands for 11 generations. As early as 1721, the family settled in the picturesque Pulkautal valley in the Weinviertel region and has become well established with the varied interplay of agriculture, viticulture and merchandising. Currently, winemaker Norbert Bauer, together with his son Wilfried, cultivates 90 hectares of vines. The wines of the winemaking duo are a modern interpretation of a long tradition that began more than three hundred years ago. Norbert Bauer focuses on powerful red and white wines, while Willy Bauer presses modern, fruity white wines that follow his own style.
