More information about Oops we
The hop farmers of this world not only work every day to ensure that the green gold grows and thrives, they also do their best to surprise breweries with exciting new varieties These are created by crossing two or more plants using different methods Most of us are familiar with a few popular hop varieties, but there are a handful of new breeds every year, that enchant the men and women behind the brewing kettles with their special aroma Because you can't tell whether hops are a success or not immediately after harvesting, the experimental varieties are initially given technical names HBC 630 or HS11701, for example The latter is a hop from Hopsteiner that was first harvested in 2023 and passed on to breweries The brand new variety delivers juicy notes of peach and melon, tangy hints of yuzu and the gentle sweetness of dried apricots
The Fullstream brewery has a whole range of beers brewed with experimental hops and the latest addition is one with the HS17701 variety The creation is called Oops! We HS17701ed Again and is a crisp single hop pilsner that brings the full range of aromatic cones to the table
Juicy, fruity, drinkable!
