More information about Pink Totem
Just in time for Valentine's Day, the team at Les Intenables brewery have taken the rose-colored glasses literally and created a beer that not only looks flowery, but also contains actual flowers
Their creation is called Pink Toten and borrows its vibrant color and floral and fruity taste from the blossom of the red hibiscus This exotic ingredient dyes the brew deep red and gives it a bouquet that combines floral hints with fruity acidity and juicy sweetness The aroma of the hibiscus harmonizes wonderfully with the characters of the hop varieties used: Nelson Sauvin brings a tart fruitiness and notes of white fruit and grapes to the beer, while HBC 630 contributes complex berry tones and a creamy sweetness with a hint of caramel
Pink Totem is an unconventional India Pale Ale with a rich 9.5% alcohol content, a raspberry red color and a delicate pink head Aroma and taste form a sensual symphony characterized by cranberry, wild berries, creamy notes, melt-in-the-mouth caramel, white grapes and floral elements Sweetness, acidity and bitterness are cleverly balanced and flatter the taste buds
Because a beer is worth a thousand words, we recommend this elegant beer as a souvenir or gift for the next festive occasion!
