The Session 11 was distilled for the first time on 11.11.2016. On 11.11. not only St. Martin is celebrated, but also the start of the foolish session in the carnival, shrovetide and carnival strongholds.
For Session 11, 22 different botanicals are used:
In addition to fresh juniper berries from Bosnia, hops (American Cascade) from the in-house brewery, various herbs such as angelica, coriander, cubeb pepper, licorice and fruits or fruit peels end up in the macerate: Raspberries, acacia flowers, orange, lemon and lime peel. In the aroma basket, other ingredients then unfold their aromatic effect.

Hello and welcome to Pittermanns. We are a distillery in Cologne, Germany, founded in 2016. Here we produce handmade whiskies, gins, genever and liqueurs from the best juniper. We distill all our spirits in the new location in the Bilderstöckchen district since 2020. Distilling is done with a 100l spirit still and a 600l capper still.
