We attach great importance to clean processing and strictly selected ingredients. We believe that less is more and above all (in keeping with our North German style) "clearer". That is why we do not sweeten our rum afterwards and have given it the "Dry" label.
47% - less water, more flavor
We have decided not to be stingy with the volume percentages, because alcohol is a flavor carrier and that is our main focus. This ensures volume, a good mouthfeel and an intense softness.
Hamburg design and 100% natural cork
We make use of many Hamburg and maritime elements. Our font is the stencil font used on the containers that populate our beautiful port of Hamburg and sail out into the world from there. We have been looking for our natural corks for a long time and have them sailed in from Portugal, where they are made for us by THE professionals for corks.

RON ELBA is not another AMG (Agency made Gin). Nor is it an agency made rum. With RON ELBA, the name says it all: A rum from the Elbe. Strictly speaking, an unsweetened rum. And because that's so unusual, we've christened it "Dry Rum." Hand-picked molasses from Mauritius, specially developed yeasts and a little sea air. These are the aroma givers of RON ELBA. Enriched with especially soft water from northern Germany, the yeasts ferment the sugar they contain, resulting in what we at RON ELBA call "Lazy Joe." A deep dark liquid with about 10% vol. Alcohol, as much as a light wine. Lazy Joe is first tasted by us for its quality after fermentation is complete. Following the obligatory ceremonial release, the Lazy Joe is rectified (distilled several times) with the help of a still.
