More information about Rose Valley apple brandy barrel aged
This fruit brandy from old, early and late apple varieties of our region gets its balanced, complex aroma from aging in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak.
In this way, the vanilla-bourbon tones combine with the wonderfully fruity aroma of the apples. This gives the mild noble brandy such a rounded taste of ripe apples, vanilla, honey and bourbon. This makes the barrel-aged apple brandy one of our finest apple brandies.
Mild alcohol, with notes of fine ripe apples, vanilla, honey, bourbon, full and round on the palate.
Apples, harvested to the point by us, from regional home gardens and our own orchard.
The fully ripe fruit is processed directly after harvest and gently cold fermented.
Gentle double distillation, finished batches of early and late varieties are combined before barrel aging for a balanced complex flavor.
Approx. 500 bottles annually
As an aperitif and digestif, simply to enjoy.
