Our Single Malt Whisky Cask No.13 is a Saxon whisky and comes from a single cask bottling.
It is not chill-filtered and contains no artificial coloring. This is a full maturation, not a finish!
The whisky was allowed to mature as a first fill for 4 years in an orange wine cask.
This special cask maturation gives the single malt whisky a fascinating balance between spicy depth and fruity aromas of peach and yellow fruit.
Long-lasting and harmonious, with an elegant sweetness and subtle oak notes accompanied by a fine tannin structure. Only available in limited quantities due to the special barrel ageing process.

Processing:
The malt is broken down without technical enzymes. Similar to beer brewing, the malt is added to hot water. The starch contained in the malt is then converted into fermentable sugar through various temperature levels and the added malt.
