Cask No. 12
Our Single Malt Whisky Cask No. 12 is a Saxon whisky and comes from a single cask bottling.
It is not chill-filtered and contains no artificial coloring.
This is a full maturation, not a finish! The whisky was allowed to mature as a first fill in a freshly emptied 12-year-old Sicilian Marsala cask.
Perfectly balanced, the cask provides a multi-faceted aroma and an intense color.
Gentle, with spicy aromas of juicy fruit and spices. Subtle hints of almonds and hazelnuts round off the taste profile.
The bottles are hand-numbered and limited to 421 units.

Barley and roasted barley malt
Processing:
The malt is broken down without technical enzymes. Similar to beer brewing, the malt is added to hot water. The starch contained in the malt is then converted into fermentable sugar through various temperature levels and the added malt.
