More information about Wild plum organic fruit spread
The wild plum consists of a mixture of different red cherry plums (Prunus cerasifera). These can be found in meadow orchards or wild along roadsides, where I harvest them.
The taste of the fruit varies from sweet to slightly sour. This spread, flavored with raw cane sugar, is fruity and tart.
