Harmonious on the nose and delicate on the finish, our quince brandy emphasizes the typical fruity taste characteristics of quinces when fully ripe. Harmonious and strong, with a certain spiciness, our quince brandy invigorates the senses in a particularly complex and multi-layered way.
This fruit brandy is made from fine, fully ripe quinces. Quinces are particularly appreciated by connoisseurs. The stage of ripeness of the fruit can be recognized particularly well by the colouring and the downy layer: When the skin turns golden yellow and loses its fuzz, it is time for harvesting. Depending on the variety, this usually happens in early to mid-October.
Our fruit brandies undergo a gentle, intensive maceration process during the distillation cycle. The resulting fruit mash, from the fermented fruit, is then distilled in the still and finally - in the column, the 3 bell bottoms of the plant - distilled off.
Thanks to many years of experience in fruit processing and state-of-the-art distilling technology, the Schwechow fruit brandy is a real treat for lovers of the finest delicacies.

Schwechow fruit distillery
Schwechow Manor is a historic estate built in 1229, which today houses the Schwechow Fruit Distillery. The distillery produces fine fruit brandies, spirits, liqueurs and gin and is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Elbe Valley Nature Park. The distillery originally dates back to the 18th century. Today, high-quality spirits are produced here under the motto "Preserve tradition, shape the future", including many in limited editions. Our fruit brandies, spirits and liqueurs are made from the best and most aromatic fruit. The estate's lovingly restored former pigeon house houses Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's first fruit capper distillery. Our high-quality Platinum products in mouth-blown glass decanters round off our premium range.
