Only home-grown plums are used for the Schwechow plum brandy. The high art of distilling is shown here above all in keeping the prussic acid out of the plums and enhancing the velvety almond flavor. It prefers to grow around our distillery. At least that's what we think, because one thing is as clear as Schwechow fruit brandy: our plum brandy is one of the bestsellers in our range for a reason.
Our fruit brandies undergo a gentle, intensive maceration process during the distillation cycle. The resulting fruit mash from the fermented fruit is then distilled in the still and finally - in the column, the 3 bell bottoms of the plant - distilled off.
Thanks to many years of experience in fruit processing and state-of-the-art distilling technology, the Schwechow fruit brandy is a real treat for lovers of the finest delicacies.

Schwechow fruit distillery
Schwechow Manor is a historic estate built in 1229, which today houses the Schwechow Fruit Distillery. The distillery produces fine fruit brandies, spirits, liqueurs and gin and is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Elbe Valley Nature Park. The distillery originally dates back to the 18th century. Today, high-quality spirits are produced here under the motto "Preserve tradition, shape the future", including many in limited editions. Our fruit brandies, spirits and liqueurs are made from the best and most aromatic fruit. The estate's lovingly restored former pigeon house houses Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's first fruit capper distillery. Our high-quality Platinum products in mouth-blown glass decanters round off our premium range.
