The lightly roasted hazelnuts make this hazelnut spirit particularly fine. The taste of roasted hazelnuts and a little chocolate make it a very special taste experience for all nut lovers.
After the hazelnuts have been crushed, they are infused with pure alcohol and stored using a special in-house process. Our hazelnut spirit is a real fashionable spirit and is becoming increasingly popular, especially with non-schnapps drinkers. The subtle nuances of roasted hazelnuts and the light taste of chocolate almost evoke distant memories.
The alcohol in our spirits does not come from the fermentation of the fruit, but from the use of neutral alcohol. Due to their low sugar content, the fruits used for the spirits are not suitable for fermentation, but they do have a lot of aroma. By soaking the fruit in neutral alcohol, the aromatic substances can pass into the alcohol. This is followed by distillation.

Schwechow fruit distillery
Schwechow Manor is a historic estate built in 1229, which today houses the Schwechow Fruit Distillery. The distillery produces fine fruit brandies, spirits, liqueurs and gin and is located in the heart of the Mecklenburg Elbe Valley Nature Park. The distillery originally dates back to the 18th century. Today, high-quality spirits are produced here under the motto "Preserve tradition, shape the future", including many in limited editions. Our fruit brandies, spirits and liqueurs are made from the best and most aromatic fruit. The estate's lovingly restored former pigeon house houses Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's first fruit capper distillery. Our high-quality Platinum products in mouth-blown glass decanters round off our premium range.
