We, from the Sleeping Forest gourmet distillery, have made it our mission to create a gin that is as unique as its home. Deep forests, calm rivers and a breathtaking landscape characterize the surroundings of Tambach-Dietharz, a tranquil place in the Thuringian Forest.
This feeling of tranquillity and naturalness, hand-picked ingredients from the local forests, finely balanced flavors and a love of craftsmanship combine to create an incomparable taste experience.
The nuances of forest rose hip, citrus peel and cardamom stand out, but without dominating the typical juniper flavor.
We are a very young company and produce our gin by hand in very small batches. No mass production, each bottle is unique. Enjoyment, quality and the pleasure of drinking are our top priorities.
We also pursue another mission. For every bottle of our gin sold, we donate €1 to the Central German Children's Hospice based here in Tambach-Dietharz. Enjoy and do good.
