However, we don't want to introduce you to the winter edition here, but a refined version of it For their Smokey Oak Beer, the brewers took a portion of the winter Wegseidlas and filled it into wooden barrels These barrels previously housed the finest whiskey and released its flavor into the beer during storage The process demanded a lot of patience from the team, but the long wait was more than worth it: The beer's flavor profile deepened and was enriched by the noble whiskey notes In the end, we have a malt-driven creation that tastes of creamy caramel, roasted nuts, toasty bread crust, campfire, roasted grain, exotic vanilla, peat and whiskey
