More information about Steamworks Brewing Co. Killer Cucumber Ale
The brewers at Steamworks Brewing have already proven their spirit of discovery when they opened Canada's very first steam brewery. Now they are showing their boldness by adding an unusual addition to their illustrious range: Killer Cucumber Ale is a light and fluffy summer beer with fresh organic cucumbers on the list of ingredients alongside the usual suspects. Brewed twice, the cucumber unfolds its subtle aroma and is evident in both the aroma and the taste. You can be curious!
The beer-based thirst quencher with a cucumber kick flows into the glass in a slightly cloudy amber hue and is topped with an airy, white crown. As soon as the bottle is opened, the unmistakable aroma of fresh cucumber is released. A hint of honey, a hint of roasted malt and a little hop round off the first olfactory impression. The first sip reveals another secret on the list of ingredients: Belgian yeast. This gives the beer a fine acidity that goes perfectly with the sweetness of the malt and the taste of the cucumber. The hops add a lemony freshness. Steamworks Killer Cucumber Ale is a light-footed beer that is wonderfully refreshing and drinkable. An absolute summer hit!
