More information about Steamworks Brewing Co. Pale Ale
The Pale Ale from Steamworks Brewing is not only delicious, it is also a true golden boy. In 2012, it already convinced the jury of the Canadian Brewing Awards and won the gold medal in the North American Style Pale Ale category.
Steamworks Pale Ale flows into the glass in the color of liquid amber and is crowned by a layer of creamy white foam. The fine bubbly carbonation makes the head dance and brings to light a delightful aroma of roasted malt, creamy caramel and fresh hops. The palate presents a successful balance between full-bodied malts and delicately bitter, fruity-fresh hops. The moderate sweetness of tropical fruits meets spicy resin, floral hop notes and a hint of tobacco on the palate. A clear bitterness constantly accompanies the drinking pleasure and increases towards the finish to a crisp dominance. Despite the omnipresent bitterness, the Pale Ale is drinkable and light. We appreciate this Pale Ale for its refreshing lightness, the wonderful bitterness and the finely tuned flavor palette.
