More information about Stone Brewing Enter Night Pilsner
This beer caused a sensation even before its release. No wonder, after all, legendary metal bands don't release their own beer every day. The cold-hopped Pilsner, which is supposed to represent the band Metallica in beer form, was eagerly awaited. And fans of the uncompromising metallers were not disappointed. Appropriately bottled in black cans, the Pilsner not only shines with its logo, but also with its correspondingly fitting contents. Part of Stone Brewing's Arrogant Consortia range, Enter Night Pilsner is also a beer that doesn't want to fit in and be for everyone. It is aggressive, anarchic and different.
Only a genius would come up with the glorious and seemingly absurd idea of creating an extravagant, challenging beer from a down-to-earth, northern German pilsner. Stone Brewing has succeeded in this balancing act together with the wild gang from Metallica: Only the color and the persistent bitterness have remained from the classic pilsner. Instead, a whole lot of hops and the corresponding variety of flavors have been added. The result of this extremely successful crossover is a very drinkable beer that should not only appeal to bikers dressed in black.
Just as the sounds of Metallica sometimes buzz through your head for days on end, one slightly overwhelmed beer drinker describes the enjoyment of Enter Night Pilsner: the taste of the hops is so dominant and overpowering that it stays with you long after you've finished drinking it.

Stone Brewing
Like all great stories in the craft beer business, Stone Brewing's begins with a passionate beer drinker brewing his own beer at home. Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing's very first brewmaster, gained his first brewing experience in his own kitchen, and it was a twist of fate when he met Greg Koch in 1989. A beer revolution The two beer aficionados drank countless bottles of beer together while making wild plans. One of those plans, to start their own brewery, persisted. Steve and Greg had planned a revolution: Their goal was to free America from the shackles of industrially brewed mass-produced beers - To move away from standard beers and turn to beery works of art from creative minds and bold craft brewers. In 1996, the time had come and the first keg of Stone Brewing's own production was sold. With this step, the two brewers are not only considered legends in the craft beer scene, but...
