More information about Stone Brewing Enter Night Pilsner
This beer has already caused a sensation before its release. No wonder, legendary metal bands don't release their own beer every day, after all. The cold-hopped Pilsner, which is supposed to represent the band Metallica in beer form, was awaited with great excitement. And fans of the uncompromising metallers were not disappointed. Appropriately bottled in black cans, the pilsner shines not only via the logo, but also with contents to match. Located in Stone Brewing's Arrogant Consortia division, the Enter Night Pilsner is also a beer that doesn't want to be conformed and for everyone. It's aggressive, anarchistic and different.
It would take a genius to come up with the glorious and seemingly outlandish idea of taking a down-to-earth, northern German pilsner and turning it into an extravagant, challenging beer creation. Stone Brewing has succeeded in this balancing act together with the wild gang from Metallica: All that remains of the classic Pilsner is the color and the lingering bitterness. Instead, a whole lot of hops and the corresponding flavor variety have been added. The result of this extremely successful crossover is a very drinkable beer that will not only be enjoyed by bikers dressed in black.
Just as the sounds of Metallica sometimes buzz through your head for days, a slightly overwhelmed beer drinker describes the enjoyment of Enter Night Pilsner: The taste of the hops is so dominant and overpowering that it stays with you long after you have finished drinking.

Stone Brewing
Like all great stories in the craft beer business, Stone Brewing's begins with a passionate beer drinker brewing his own beer at home. Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing's very first brewmaster, gained his first brewing experience in his own kitchen, and it was a twist of fate when he met Greg Koch in 1989. A beer revolution The two beer aficionados drank countless bottles of beer together while making wild plans. One of those plans, to start their own brewery, persisted. Steve and Greg had planned a revolution: Their goal was to free America from the shackles of industrially brewed mass-produced beers - To move away from standard beers and turn to beery works of art from creative minds and bold craft brewers. In 1996, the time had come and the first keg of Stone Brewing's own production was sold. With this step, the two brewers are not only considered legends in the craft beer scene, but...
