More information about Stone Brewing Go To IPA
The Go To IPA is another India Pale Ale from Stone Brewing that shines with its incredible hop intensity. No less than nine hop varieties were used for this masterpiece and you can taste every single one of them. The Go To IPA overwhelms with multi-faceted hop aromas, making it an IPA like no other. Hop bursting is the name of the technique that allows brewers to pack a maximum amount of hops into the beer and extract the greatest possible hop flavor.
Typical for an IPA, the Go To IPA also has a strong golden and clear appearance. The fine-pored head stands out in a beautiful white color and is lush and creamy. With intense peach, citrus and melon aromas, Go To IPA is an olfactory revelation and more than promising. The exceptionally large amount of hops in this IPA provides a dry bitter note that lingers from the first sip to the finish. The bitterness from the hops is underpinned by just enough malt to create a balanced interplay of aromas. The Go To IPA is a composition of grassy, fruity notes with a pleasant hop dominance and a nice effervescence. At 4.8% ABV, the Session IPA is less strong than the full-bodied taste would suggest, making it the perfect everyday beer. Crisply bitter, overwhelmingly hoppy and surprisingly fruity, Stone Go To IPA is exactly what it promises: absolutely drinkable and a pleasure for every day.

A beer revolution The two beer aficionados drank countless bottles of beer together while making wild plans. One of those plans, to start their own brewery, persisted. Steve and Greg had planned a revolution: Their goal was to free America from the shackles of industrially brewed mass-produced beers - To move away from standard beers and turn to beery works of art from creative minds and bold craft brewers. In 1996, the time had come and the first keg of Stone Brewing's own production was sold. With this step, the two brewers are not only considered legends in the craft beer scene, but...
