Nosedive gin

The Landgasthof Adler is one of the oldest documented inns in the Ellwangen district and has changed hands several times over the centuries. Anno 1858 Jakob and Pauline Bauer acquire the Landgasthof Adler, and since then it is in family ownership. Things really took off in the mid-1980s. And it wasn't long before restaurant guides took notice of what was developing in Rosenberg. Not only the food, but also the ambience and the warm atmosphere at the Adler spread the word unceasingly. Eventually, the Michelin star follows, supplemented by 18 points by GaultMillau and the award for Josef Bauer as Chef of the Year by the Bertelsmann Guide. The Feinschmecker, in turn, has repeatedly named the Landgasthof Adler the best country inn in Germany.
