More information about Tilmans Biere Pilsener
A pilsner in a Frisian mink.
By wrapping his pilsner in a bright yellow raincoat with a fisherman's cap, Tilman allows himself a little parody of a well-known East Frisian pilsner producer who prides himself on being genuinely Frisian and very tart. But Tilman's Pilsner is also - quote - "pretty tart".
But the pilsner from Tilmans Biere is not just bitter. A whole lot of hops give the beer a wonderful fruity note in addition to its Frisian-fresh tartness. American aroma hops conjure up notes of tropical fruit in the beer and skillfully balance out the tartness. Unlike other beers, Tilmans Pilsner is an unfiltered, untreated natural product. At 4.7% vol., it is a slender pilsner that goes wonderfully with fresh fish and other seafood.
However, we cannot promise whether the crab on the label from Michael "Mixen" Wiethaus' pen agrees with this food pairing.
In the sun, wind and weather, on the beach or in the mountains - the pilsner from Tilmans Biere tastes wonderfully fresh, quite tart and is our favorite interpretation of the classic Czech pilsner.
