This lightly sweetened Old Tom Gin based on our Tinctura Anatomica supplemented with noble cardamom is in a class of its own in its composition! The popularity of gin once led to the fact that it was only served secretly in England.
To signal that gin was available here, a wooden cat figurine was placed outside the door of the pub. The English term for the black tomcat(old tomcat) thus gave Old Tom Gin its name.

Leonardo Da Vinci and Andreas Vesal appreciated the outstanding properties of certain herbs for preservation more than five hundred years ago.
