To Øl Whirl Domination - India Pale Ale

To celebrate the inauguration of their new brewery in Svinninge, the brewers at To Øl from Denmark have come up with a festive beer. Whirl Domination pushes the limits of hopping to the extreme and is not stingy with the malt either. Using four hop varieties and five different malts, the Danish brewers have created a masterpiece of the art of brewing that heralds a new era of brewing at To Øl.

Whirl Domination flows into the glass in a beautifully cloudy golden hue and carries a small, fleeting crown of white foam on its head. The lively carbon dioxide constantly sends small bubbles from the bottom of the glass to the surface and transports a fine aroma of golden malt, pink grapefruit, pomelo and tropical fruit to the nose. The first sip presents a wonderfully smooth beer with a great hop profile. Tropical, fruity notes of pineapple, mango and passion fruit caress the palate, while citrus fruits and notes of fresh, green hops round off the hoppy impression. The variety of malts provides the soft mouthfeel and contributes a hint of cookie aroma and a solid base. A crisp bitterness hovers over the interplay of flavors, which increases from the first sip into the finish and elegantly complements the fruity sweetness.
