More information about Trebitsch Single Malt Whisky
The basis is the smokeless 40% Trebitsch Original Single Malt Whisky, which matures for four years in new oak barrels. It is then aged for a year in 195-liter white North American oak barrels, in which bourbon matured first and then Nicaraguan rum. For the finishing, we chose classic 25-year matured rum barrels.
Finishing in these casks gives the whisky a long, delicate body with an unmistakable rum aroma with tones of tropical fruit and caramel. The whisky is rounded off with a vanilla-cinnamon top note in the intense scent of new leather.
