More information about Two Chefs Bon Chef
Beer style: NEIPA
The two head brewers at Two Chefs Brewing in Amsterdam were chefs before they changed professions and tools. They swapped knives for mash paddles and from then on no longer used their fine tongues to conjure up culinary delights on the plate, but in the glass. Having worked in kitchens for many years, they know exactly what makes a good chef and which skills earn him praise from the dining room. Today, they transform this knowledge into beer that goes perfectly with fine cuisine and is also a delicacy without accompaniment.
Bon Chef is a New England India Pale Ale that sends guests into dreamy raptures with its exuberant fruity notes and drinkable character. The 5.0% brew is brewed with a subtly flavored blend of barley, wheat and oats and refined with Columbus and Azacca hops. In the glass, NEIPA presents itself in a strong cloudy grain gold and is crowned with a handful of airy, white foam. A bouquet of passion fruit, melon, lychee, citrus fruit and freshly mown grass reflects the hops in aroma and taste. The light-footed beer also delights with a silky-soft mouthfeel and an elegant bitterness that is never too dominant.
