Villa Trasqua Nerento Gran Selezione DOCG Chianti Classico flows into the glass in a dark ruby red. The fruity scent of blackcurrants and mulberries pampers the connoisseur's senses, closely followed by eucalyptus and laurel notes. Spicy notes such as licorice, nutmeg and black pepper as well as a hint of chocolate perfectly round off the bouquet. On the palate, the red wine made from Sangiovese grapes, which come from a single vineyard, is rich, long-lasting and balanced with well-integrated tannins. The multilayered red wine aged 30 months in oak and another twelve months in bottle.
