More information about Vrede en Lust Boet Erasmus 2017
With its great balance of fruit and oak notes, the Vrede en Lust Boet Erasmus will delight any red wine lover from the first moment. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Merlot (40%), Malbec (7%), Petit Verdot (4%) and Cabernet Franc (2%) smells wonderfully of dark and red fruits, while aromas of tobacco and vanilla as well as earthy tones provide even more complexity. Full-bodied and fruity on the palate, the red wine lingers on the palate for a long time with its fine tannins. Vrede en Lust Boet Erasmus aged sixteen to eighteen months in French oak and is the estate's flagship wine. Owners Dana and Etienne Buys dedicated their best red wine to their grandfather, who showed them the world of premium wines. Enjoy the elegant red wine cuvée pure, with a cheese platter or with dishes of dark meat or game.
