The Wacken Brewery's gifts of the gods are the perfect starter packs for tasting all our craft beers. The Göttergabe Gesellig contains nine different craft beers, two bottles of each, plus two beautifully designed beer glasses with A Pantheon of Taste printed on them .
The following beers are included:
2 x Sleipnir - Schnelles Helles, 4.8% vol. alc.
Its (festive) evening enjoyment is a glide over the events of the day. Sleipnir is a deliciously fresh, easy-drinking and well-balanced companion, who sometimes shouts to you after drinking his seventh beer: "You can't stand on seven legs".
2 x Crafty Loki - Nordic Pale Ale, 5.7% vol. alc.
Our beer is reminiscent of Loki, because it is just as complex: the round malt body offers a drinkable taste. The hop varieties used not only provide a fresh basic bitterness, but also ensure a powerful fruity-floral taste experience. The beer is natural, unfiltered and unpasteurized so as not to impair the variety of aromas.
2 x Mjölnir - Nordic Lager, 5.3% vol. alc.
We dedicate our pilsner to this mighty, divine hammer. Forged, it is brilliantly bright, drinkable and fruity-fresh at the same time. We've hopped and hopped with Summit, Cascade and Comet. The beer is natural, neither filtered nor pasteurized. In short, a divine drink. The loss weighs heavily, drink with caution!
2 x Yggdrasil - Nordic Red Ale, 5.2% vol. alc.
Our copper-red Irish Red Ale is fermented relatively lean. We have fruity aromas of red berries, which combine harmoniously with subtle caramel and toffee notes from the malt. Only in the finish do the hops dominate and deliver a lasting, pleasantly fresh bitterness. Skál!
2 x Freya - Spring bock, 6.3% vol. alc.
The beer is light and lively, strong but not too strong. It is drinkable but not too sweet, fruity and hoppy but not too bitter. Freya quenches the heat, but warms you up on cold days.
2 x Forseti - Dry Stout, 5.9% vol. alc.
Our Dry Stout could come from Forseti's source. It is full-bodied and rich, yet balanced in terms of malt body, bitterness and strength. The roasted aromas lurk darkly in the depths of this well, bringing dark chocolate, toffee, dried fruit and cherries to the surface. This aromatic delight, together with the hop bitterness and the released warmth, has a soothing effect and pacifies all quarrels of the day.
2 x Valkyrie Sip - Nordic Strong Ale, 7.8% vol. alc.
Our Strong Ale could have come from Valhalla, with an original gravity of around 20° Plato it is not only strong, but also powerful. We have hopped and sparged with Summit and Cascade. The beer is left natural, unpasteurized and unfiltered. In short: delicately bitter, sweet, strong and natural, like the invigorating kiss of a Valkyrie. Skál!
2 x Heimdalls Willkomm - Drink of beer and mead, 6.5% vol. alc.
The potion is strong, drinkable and yet has a subtle bitterness that resonates like a lament for the end of life in Midgard.
2 x Baldur - Nordic Märzen - 5.5% vol. alc.
We dedicate our Märzen to Baldur, the god of light. It is a tasty homage to summer, light and joie de vivre. We have hopped it with Pekko, a complex, aromatic hop named after the Finnish god of fertility. Skál og Kippes!
Also included are the 0.3l beer glasses from Rastal with the A Patheon of Taste logo described above.

Wacken brewery
We come from Wacken in Holstein, a region mostly off the beaten track. A little country, often gray and sometimes flat like the bland uniform taste of industrial beer, which we endured for far too long, like thirsty Bedouins wandering through the brewery-poor and monotonous desert. Our small craft beer brewery was founded at the beginning of 2016 by three beer enthusiasts in the heart of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein. After months of planning and seemingly endless conversion work on a former supermarket, the time had finally come in mid-June: the brewing equipment was set up. Since then we have a so-called three-vessel brewhouse with a capacity of 20hl per brew, i.e. a yield of 2000 liters per brewing process.
