Of course, there is one thing that should not be missing from the Kundmüller brewery's wide range: a good IPA! The Franconian brewery is the cradle of the extremely popular Weiherer beers and was recently named German Craft Brewery of the Year 2020 - an occasion for which we are only too happy to drink a chilled IPA!

The Franconian India Pale Ale is brewed with five types of hops and four types of malt and, like the brewery it comes from, is a 2019 winner The beer has won several awards and has impressed not only countless fans but also the judges of renowned competitions The Cascade, Equinox, Huell Melon, Citra and Mosaic hop varieties give the beer its refreshingly fruity character, while the selection of malt complements the hoppy splendor with soft sweetness and delicate caramel notes

The IPA from Kundmüller presents itself in a copper-red amber hue in the glass and is adorned with a small crown of white foam, A wonderfully hoppy aroma rises from the head and tickles the nose with notes of tangy grapefruit and finely spiced pine resin The IPA is initially malty and kisses the tongue with aromas of caramel and roasted grain The hops add a dark fruitiness that tastes of wild berries A tangy grapefruit note and a bitterness that increases towards the finish skilfully round off the play of aromas
