More information about Weiherer Weizen Hell
A good wheat beer is the perfect start to the day. Anyone who thinks they can hear an alcoholic's thirst for beer in this sentence is clearly not from Bavaria. The principle "No beer before four" applies to all beer styles except wheat beer. As a liquid accompaniment to veal sausage, sweet mustard and pretzels, the good pale ale is an extremely popular breakfast and enjoys great popularity in Bavaria. Of course, you can drink a Weizen at any time of day, not everyone has as strong a stomach as the Germans from the south.
One of our favorites in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening is Weiherer Weizen Hell. This fruity wheat beer has a pleasant 5.2% alcohol content and a whole truckload of flavor. The Weiherer beer comes in a classic guise and flows into the glass in a wonderfully naturally cloudy, rich amber hue. An impressive amount of white, airy foam sits enthroned on the beer and exudes the typical wheat aroma of banana and spicy clove. The special character of the beer is noticeable in the first sip: instead of being heavy and sweet, Weiherer Weizen is unusually refreshing and light. The good Franconian brewing water gives the beer a velvety-soft texture, which brings out the creamy banana aromas, the gentle malt and the spiciness wonderfully.
Mild, soft and extraordinarily fine!
