Wiegand Manufactur Weimar used the first Corona break to develop a new product. Founder, owner and chief developer Matthias Wiegand took up a multiple customer request for a fruity liqueur with less alcohol and developed on the basis of the award-winning Heimatlikör the Heimatlikör Beerenstark - with 20 different fruit varieties, including blueberries, apricots, banana, pears, mango, currants, goji berries, strawberries, aronia berries, cranberries, sea buckthorn berries and many more. A liqueur with a strong fruity note, without any fruit standing out in particular.
The design comes from the designer Rosa Linke from the Creative Days Weimar, which had also developed the basic design of the Heimatlikör.
