Complex on the nose, soft on the tongue. The Heimatlikör promises a melange of diverse regional herbs paired with exotic spices - and the promise is fulfilled down to the last detail. The resulting flavor profile could not be more complex: whether thyme or sage, lavender or clove - the Heimatlikör combines the flavors of its ingredients in a unique composition. Licorice and spicy star anise caress the nose with warm notes. These are accompanied by dry fruity nuances of sloes and blueberries. A fine cinnamon note rounds off the bouquet in a refined way. The Heimatlikör from Weimar is not the first liqueur to be produced in local climes, and certainly not the last. Nevertheless, it is a new milestone of German liqueur tradition.
We use fresh organic herbs from the organic farm Scharf from Ollendorf for our Heimatlikör. The farm is known throughout Thuringia by the delivery of high-quality organic vegetables in the " Mein BioKorb".

Freely following the motto: "Less is more", Wiegand Manufactur produces two different types of liqueur and gin with its small 150-liter distillery. With its home liqueur, Lyonel Dry Gin and barrel gin, the small family business is currently conquering the German spirits market. The company's founder, Matthias Wiegand, spent up to a year working on the perfect flavor composition of each product. With a fine sense for the different nuances of the certified organic ingredients, he created both a flowery and unique herbal liqueur and a characteristic and fresh London Dry-style gin.
