In a beautiful red, the Zevenwacht Merlot presents itself in the glass and spoils the nose and palate of the connoisseur with its concentrated aromas that combine fruity notes of cherries, strawberries and plums with a hint of licorice. The full-bodied red wine aged in oak for 14 months and is a great food companion. Especially with lean meats such as duck or game, Zevenwacht Merlot is an excellent choice, but also tomato-based dishes such as spaghetti Bolognese are a recommended combination.
