More information about Amanero
A bit of dolce vita always goes! True to this motto, MONDINO stands for an amaro that is at home in Bavaria. The recipe for the herbal bitters was brought back from Italy to the Chiemgau region by master distiller Hans Schnitzer in the 1960s after his training in the distillery trade. Many years later, his grandson Max rediscovered it - and, together with his friends Ferdinand, Florian and Benedikt, interpreted it in a completely new way. From the traditional family recipe, which originated beyond the Alps, they created a modern, high-quality Amaro Bavarese. Italian spirit meets Bavarian distilling art. The special thing about it: the refinement with regional ingredients and a low sugar content.
The AMANERO takes up the long Italian-Bavarian history of the traditional company: The master distiller brought the recipe to Chiemgau in the 1960s after his apprenticeship years in Italy. There, the carefully balanced AMANERO is produced by hand in strictly limited quantities in the highest organic quality.
A cornucopia of over 30 herbal essences is stored for months in wooden barrels and matures into an incomparably fine, complex Amaro Bavarese. A pleasure as a digestivo pure on ice or as a basis for delicious drinks.
