More information about Angulo Innocenti Unisono Blend 2018
The Unísono is considered to be the winery's top wine - a cuvée of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that is composed anew each year. The grapes come from the high-altitude Uco Valley in Mendoza, at around 1,000 meters above sea level, where conditions are ideal for expressive and concentrated wines.
On the nose, the Unísono is impressively complex and opulent, with intense aromas of dark plum, boysenberry and fresh dates, accompanied by subtle notes of dark chocolate. The interplay of aromas is complemented by nuances of black cherries, cassis, raspberries and subtle hints of herbs and eucalyptus.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and generous with a juicy, inviting attack. Its seductively velvety texture, the harmoniously integrated, sweet tannins and the round, supple finish make it a particularly elegant pleasure. A dense, structured wine with remarkable depth and balance.
Aged in barriques for 18 months. (97% French oak - 3% American oak). Only 3% new oak. The rest is 2nd and 3rd use.
48% Malbec, 22% Cabernet Franc, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot

Angulo Innocenti Viticultores
Pedro Angulo and Angel Innocenti were both originally European wine growers. They emigrated to Argentina at the end of the 19th century. Their hard work ethic allowed them to achieve great success with their ventures. The Angulo & Innocenti family has revived their winemaking roots. Alejandro Angulo and Mariano Innocenti, 3rd and 4th generations respectively, have decided to celebrate Pedro & Angel's winemaking past with the development of a unique terroir at La Consulta. La Consulta is located at the extreme southern tip of the Uco Valley, south of Mendoza. The region ranges from 3,000 to 3,500 meters above sea level and is located at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains.
