The Anthonij Rupert Cabernet Franc delights every red wine lover with its wonderful fragrance and pampers the senses with aromas of cocoa, spices and dried lavender. Light blackberry notes are noticeable on the palate and are accompanied by nuances of plums and chocolate. The well-integrated oak notes and soft mouthfeel round off the taste experience of the elegant yet powerful Anthonij Rupert Cabernet Franc extremely well. The red wine matures for 18 to 24 months in barriques and a further three years in the bottle, which gives it great ageing potential, but even today the Anthonij Rupert Cabernet Franc offers long-lasting enjoyment. This red wine is a delight on its own, but it also goes very well with dark meat or spicy dishes.
