The Anthonij Rupert Main Blend seduces on the nose with an inviting blend of luscious black and red fruits, ripe blueberries and fine spice and chocolate notes.
"This harmonious variety of aromas continues seamlessly on the palate. Juicy black cherries and plums provide a seductive richness, while subtle hints of fennel or aniseed add a spicy nuance. Fine oak and gentle yet distinctive tannins ensure a perfect balance.
The cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (42%), Cabernet Franc (37%) and Merlot (21%) is rich and rounded, yet elegant and powerful at the same time. Its impressive complexity is particularly evident in the long, supple finish, which is refined with a hint of cocoa.
Whether with dark meat, game or savory: The Anthonij Rupert Main Blend, matured for 24 months in French oak and six years in the bottle, is not only a pleasure for red wine lovers on its own, but also always with food.
