Rich aromas of cocoa, blueberries and cherries then unfold, accompanied by fine tannins. The wine is elegant, refined and perfectly balanced. The harmony of fruit and oak notes gives the Anthonij Rupert Merlot a wonderfully long, smooth and silky finish.
The red wine matured for 24 months in barriques and three years in the bottle - making this red wine, of which only 11 barrels were produced, a pleasure to drink on its own. The Anthonij Rupert Merlot is also an excellent accompaniment to dishes with dark meat, game or savory dishes.
