This Añejo tequila is a wonderful pleasure to drink straight and impresses with its strong agave character, which is complemented by rich barrel notes.
The nose is inviting and complex, with aromas of cooked agave, oak, caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of maple. These notes continue superbly on the palate, supported by subtle whiskey accents, and offer a balanced sweetness that is never overpowering. The finish is smooth and round, with a luxurious mouthfeel that makes this Añejo both approachable and memorable.

Tequila Atanasio stammt aus der charmanten Stadt San Pedro de los Landeros, nur 10 Autominuten nordwestlich der Stadt Tequila. Sein Name, inspiriert von spanischen und griechischen Ursprüngen, bedeutet “unsterblich” – eine Hommage an Tio Atanasio, einen Agavenbauern, der 103 Jahre alt wurde. Mit dieser Nummer auf der Flasche ehrt Atanasio seine Überzeugung, dass “etwas Tequila jeden Tag das Leben ewig machen kann”.
