More information about Celebrator
A winning beer!
The Celebrator from the Ayinger private brewery is a trophy hunter: the doppelbock has already won countless national and international awards and never fails to impress the judges of renowned competitions.
We are not at all surprised, because this strong dessert beer is a real aroma bomb. Deeply dark and highly aromatic, the bock beer has a great color and a heavenly aroma.
The Celebrator flows into the glass in an opaque mahogany color and shimmers magnificently in all facets of ruby red. A firm, hazelnut-brown head crowns the beer. A wonderful aroma of roasted hazelnuts, creamy caramel and spicy cedarwood rises from the stately head. On the tongue, the bock is velvety smooth and full-bodied. Fine aromas of roasted coffee beans, spicy yeast, dark cocoa and dried fruit build up on a creamy malt base. A hint of oven-fresh bread crust and a subtle herbal note round off the interplay of aromas. The subtle sweetness is balanced by a roasty bitterness in the finish.
The Celebrator is an excellent dessert beer and so delicious that it could also be served on its own as a dessert.
