The Babylonstoren Nebukadnesar presents itself in a deep ruby red and fascinates on the nose with an impressive variety of aromas. Notes of cedar wood, blackberries, plums and dark cherries combine harmoniously with oregano, thyme and walnuts, giving the wine exceptional depth and complexity.
"On the palate, the opulent structure ensures an intense taste experience. Soft, velvety tannins skillfully embed the fruity and spicy nuances and give the wine an elegant balance. The cuvée is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Malbec (10%) and Petit Verdot (5%), a noble composition that develops its full expressiveness through maturation for 23 months in French oak and a further five months in the bottle.
The Babylonstoren Nebukadnesar is a red wine to enjoy, which offers a real taste experience on its own. However, it harmonizes particularly well with dishes such as roast beef, lamb in rosemary or game. Its complex, fruity and spicy character with fine herbal notes makes it the perfect companion for game dishes and other hearty meat dishes.
