In a very dark ruby red, the Babylonstoren Nebuchadnesar impresses already in the glass. On the nose, the multi-faceted character of the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (44.5%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (15.5%), Petit Verdot (9.8%) and Malbec (5.2%) unfolds. Aromas of cedar, thyme and fresh walnuts accompany fruity notes of plum, black cherry and blackberry. Velvety soft tannins caress the palate and the lovely texture balances the fruity nuances beautifully. This opulent and full-bodied red wine aged 23 months in French oak and five months in bottle. Enjoy Babylonstoren Nebuchadnesar neat or with roast beef with a red wine sauce. Also lamb in rosemary or game are a recommended combination to the expressive red wine.
