The journey of Barril Rum begins where rum has its origins: in the Caribbean. From Barbados via Panama and the Dominican Republic to Nicaragua, four rums from these countries combine their unique facets in a blend that harmonizes perfectly.
The rums are aged for five to eight years in young bourbon oak barrels and produced using two different distillation processes. The different weather conditions, raw materials, barrels and storage methods have a unique influence on the aroma and taste.
The result is truly unique: an incomparably deep and intense taste. The key to the perfect taste and quality lies in the blend of high-quality raw materials, a great deal of patience and the best craftsmanship over several generations.

Skin Gin
Unlike previous gins, which taste predominantly of juniper and very alcohol-heavy, founder Martin Birk Jensen created a gin that should stand out. This gin with a dominant mint note should, unlike other gins, taste mild, fresh and fruity at the same time. He developed the idea for his own gin in 2014 during a summer vacation in Greece. Back in Germany, Martin contacted the master distiller Arndt Wessel, who lives with him in the Alte Land near Hamburg, and told him about his idea and his ideas, which he did not yet know whether they could be implemented at all. Working together, after several trials and subsequent fine tuning, the perfect recipe of Skin Gin was created.
