Bartinney Skyfall Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 - Red Wine

The Bartinney Skyfall Cabernet Sauvignon is the estate's flagship wine, produced only in small quantities. Limited to 2326 bottles, the red wine owes its name to the vines that grow 500 meters above sea level and come from the estate's two highest vineyards, Banghoek Skyline. In a dark red, the wine glows in the glass. Aromas of ripe plums, cinnamon and nutmeg unfold on the nose. On the palate, the opulent and full-bodied red wine, aged for twenty months in barrique, scores with notes of dark chocolate and sweet berries, underpinned by vanilla and cedar. Thanks to its complexity, the well-structured Bartinney Skyfall Cabernet Sauvignon is a real treat in itself, but it also perfectly accompanies hearty dishes with dark meat.
