With the Beyerskloof Kriekbult Pinotage, Beyerskloof pays tribute to its Kriekbult farm. This Pinotage is made from 27-year-old bush vines and reflects the unique characteristics of mature Pinotage grapes.
"The red wine presents itself with a deep dark red color and aromas of black fruits. Lively notes of oak and a hint of chocolate round off the taste experience.
On the palate, the Beyerskloof Kriekbult Pinotage delights with diverse black fruit aromas, ranging from blackberries to cassis, complemented by perfectly balanced oak flavors, which the wine owes to its 20 months of ageing in barrel. With its excellent balance and a long, juicy aftertaste, this wine impresses across the board.
The Beyerskloof Kriekbult Pinotage goes perfectly with honey-glazed pork ribs, but is also highly recommended for grilling or on its own.
