The Blaauwklippen De Blaauwe Klip pampers red wine lovers with its aroma of blackcurrants, plums and cigar box. On the palate, the classic cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (42%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Malbec (18%), Merlot (12%) and Petit Verdot (8%) shows its soft side with velvety tannins. The full-bodied Blaauwklippen De Blaauwe Klip lingers for a long time and is already a pleasure on its own. You can also serve this red wine, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak, with game dishes. Incidentally, the name De Blaauwe Klip is reminiscent of the blue granite soil in the Dwarsriver and was the earliest known name for Blaauwklippen.
