More information about Hofstettner Black Stout
Germany and Austria are neighbors and share not only a border but also a whole lot of culture The two countries are similar in many respects and, apart from local dialects, speak the same language Culinary traditions stem from the same roots and when it comes to beer, they are also largely in agreement: it should be hearty, well-chilled and drinkable, down-to-earth and preferably brewed by hand
Two breweries from Austria and Germany have joined forces for a cross-border collaboration Camba Bavaria from Seeon has sat down with the brewers from the Hofstetten brewery in Sankt Martin im Mühlkreis to ponder and create over a glass or two of beer Together, the traditional brewery and the innovative brewery have developed a beer that combines the similarities of both countries of origin to create a delicious international specialty
The product of the collaboration is a delicious black stout that is both traditional and modern The dark beer has a strong 5.6% alcohol content and, thanks to its full-bodied malt variety and dark aroma, goes perfectly with hearty dishes with cheese We prefer to eat it with a Mediterranean-inspired salad with rocket, juicy oxheart tomatoes and warm lentils with goat's cheese taler fried in bacon or Parma ham and caramelized walnuts
