More information about Wagner Merkendorf Pils
No well-stocked range should be without a good Pilsner, which is why the Wagner brewery in Merkendorf naturally also has a Pilsner in its range.
Merkendorfer Pils has a pleasant 4.9% alcohol content and has a delightful bitter note, which comes from the exclusive use of the finest aromatic hops. The drinkable beer is wonderfully full-bodied and impresses with a skillful harmony of hops and malt. It is not for nothing that Pilsner is Wagner Brewery's most popular beer.
The Merkendorfer Pils from Wagner flows into the glass in crystal-clear gold and carries a crown of white, airy foam on its glossy body. Mild grassy notes mingle with a strong portion of malt on the nose, a hint of citrus rounds off the first olfactory impression and tempts you to take your first sip. The first sip presents a refreshing beer with a great balance of sweet and bitter notes. Initially, soft malt caresses the palate with notes of toasted grain, honey and gentle sweetness. The hops then take over and deliver aromas of freshly mown grass, summer flower meadow and tangy citrus fruit. The interplay of aromas is accompanied by a crisp bitterness.
The pilsner from the Wagner brewery in Merkendorf is a hand-brewed masterpiece that goes perfectly with hearty Franconian cuisine, but also with exotic dishes such as spicy Thai or spicy Mexican food.
