More information about BRLO Goosebumps
We can get goosebumps for very different reasons: A cold breeze brushes the skin and makes it shiver, something particularly creepy goes through our head and shows on the skin or we come into sudden contact with very cold water. Such things have a rather negative connotation, but positive things can also cause goose bumps: Emotional moments, live music, a touching or moving experience, feelings of happiness or the enjoyment of a particularly good meal.
The capital city brewery BRLO adds a goosebump reason: its latest Berliner Weisse with gooseberries! When the fruity tartness touches your tongue, your skin may well take a little leap of joy and break out in delighted goosebumps. Goosebumps is known to have this effect on the beer connoisseur and is also a bit of a pun on the English words for "goosebumps" and "gooseberries," which funnily enough both have something to do with geese. In English, the goosebumps are called "goosebumps" and the gooseberries are called "gooseberries," so we would roughly translate one as goosebumps and the other as gooseberries.
The beer of the same name has no bumps, but a generous amount of the berries go into the beer in the form of puree, giving it an elegant freshness and fruity acidity. Lactic acid bacteria support the aroma and conjure up a lactic creaminess in the beer, which harmonizes wonderfully with the taste of gooseberry.

Brlo - Your Berlin Beer As a Berlin brewery and catering company, we stand for modern beer diversity and distinctive experiences. By the way, BRLO is the old Slavic name for Berlin and can only be pronounced without mistakes after a few beers. A Franconian, a Berliner and a Mecklenburger founded the Berlin beer brand BRLO in 2014. Two of them, Katharina Kurz and Christian Laase, already know each other from their studies. Diplom Braumeister Michael Lembke is the third in the group, who shared the dream and has been the mastermind of BRLO beers since the beginning. However, the BRLO team is only really complete in 2016, when Ben Pommer joins the founding team and has since been responsible for the culinary concept of the BRLO Gastronomien with his unmistakable passion. From the original two beer styles Helles and Pale Ale, many different beer styles have grown over the years: Starting...
