More information about Chiemsee HopLa
A lager beer is normally characterized by its fine balance between soft malt and fine hops However, the brewers at Camba Bavaria wanted to give their lager a breath of fresh air and therefore stuffed it with an extra portion of hops The result is called Chiemsee HopLa and is cold-hopped with the aromatic hop varieties El Dorado, Perle and Tradition Pilsener and Munich as well as caramel malt act as balancing factors A genuine Bavarian lager yeast adds the finishing touches
The hoppy lager from Chiemsee already shines with its appearance: in the glass it shines in a deep golden hue, a stately crown of dense-pored foam sits enthroned on the delicately cloudy body A bouquet of fruity hops dances into the nose and, with notes of ripe, green gooseberries, lemongrass, citrus fruit and light malt, makes you look forward to the first sip The first sip is delicately balanced and absolutely refreshing: A symphony of smooth malt and fresh hops caresses the palate After a few sips, the hops really turn up the heat and explode on the tongue with notes of grass, green cones and sun-kissed citrus fruits The bitterness is harmoniously balanced and never takes over at any time
Camba's Chiemsee HopLa is a refreshing beer thirst quencher with a tangy character and a plus of fine hops
