More information about Coffee Mexico Maragogype
The Mexico Maragogype is characterized by the size of the coffee bean, which is also popularly known as the elephant bean and is around 30% larger than conventional coffee beans. The growing area is in the state of Chiapas.
The coffee plant was originally discovered in Brazil. The coffee tree of the Maragogype variety only grows in high cultivation areas and the yield is rather low compared to conventional coffee trees. This is why there are only a few countries that still grow this coffee. It is mainly grown by small to medium-sized farmers.
The Maragogype is characterized by a soft, balanced character.
It unfolds its unmistakable, strong aroma in a particularly pure variety and is absolutely compatible.
